Simplicity often wins. Earthy colours work well, but variety is essential – so don’t shy away from strong colours either. It’s better to bring too many options than too few. The most important thing however is to bring tops that you personally like and feel comfortable in. If you have a favourite top you absolutely love, bring it.
Bring at least four different options.
Make-up and hair can be done in any way you best feel reflects who you are and makes you feel comfortable. A good rule of thumb is to do your make up as you would for an audition. If you want, we can start with a more natural make-up and you can apply more as we shoot.
Yes. You can purchase as many additional images as you like for an additional £20 for each retouched photo.
Yes. I know it’s difficult sometimes for yourself to ignore, especially when stepping in front of a camera. But rest assured, blemishes are easy to remove and will be edited out for your final retouches.
I’ll upload all your images into online private gallery so you can view your headshot session at home in your own time. Also, you can send the link to your agent and friends in case you need help picking your shots.
Once you have made your selection, I will edit the shots and send them to you usually within a day or two. You will receive the selected shots retouched, both in color and black and white – in large resolution and small resolution.
Usually within 3 days after you’ve made your final picks.
My turnover is usually very quick. I will send the online gallery to you always within the day of the shoot. When it comes to your retouched images, they are typically ready in two to five days depending on how busy my schedule happens to be.
You can reschedule your shoot 48 hours prior to your scheduled time.
Yes – Just make sure you bring your own equipment and your own towel. But bear in mind that it cuts into the shooting time. Make sure to chat to your agents before the shoot to discuss what looks would be the most useful for them, in terms of the roles they’re putting you up for.
I require full payment for all Pay What You Can Sessions rightaway.
All PWYC Sessions are non-refundable, but can be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours prior to the date of the booking.
If I’m unable to schedule an open slot that works for you, you will receive a full refund.
Absolutely. You will receive colour as well as black and white copies. You will also get all edited shots in high resolution for print and low resolution for web and social media use.
Unfortunately the answer is no.
Unretouched photos are a solid starting point from which we build the final image. Publishing them would be a disservice to both the photographer and also you, the performer.
If you wish to cancel your shoot, you can. Sessions can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the date of the booking. Booking deposits are non-refundable. Only applies to fully priced bookings, not PWYC. Any late cancellations will need to be paid in full.
Yes, I require a non-refundable £50 deposit at checkout to complete your booking.
On the day, right before we start shooting we will have a little chat where I will find out the specifics of what you need, relax, take a deep breath and then we’ll get to it. There’s no rush.
Yes, we got plenty of time. If you want to straighten or curl your hair that’s perfectly fine. Just make sure you stick to looks you would likely attend auditions in.
If you want coffee, you get coffee.
Same.
If you have something on your mind and you didn’t find an answer on the website please feel free to send me an email.
